Je viens d'aller v�rifier sur plusieurs sites, tout est pr�t mais �a ne sortira pas, en principe, avant la mi-octobre.

Voil� quelques infos suppl�mentaires sur l'album:
Neil Young
Chrome Dreams II
Out October 16th
The original "Chrome Dreams" was a 1977 album Neil Young scrapped at the last minute (most of the songs -- including "Powderfinger" and "Like a Hurricane" -- made it onto his next few records, some in different form). The sequel is the result of an impromptu session this summer in Northern California, with pedal steel guitarist Ben Keith, bassist Rick Rosas and Crazy Horse drummer Ralph Molina. Eight of the ten tracks are new, and cover the gamut of Young styles, from Harvest-ish country ("Beautiful Bluebird") to cracked ballads ("Shining Light") and sloppy rave-ups ("Dirty Old Man"). The standout for many fans, though, will be an epic song from 1988: the eighteen-minute "Ordinary People," which sounds like "Cortez the Killer" with horns. Catch the tunes live later this fall, when Young and company will take the album on the road.

Je n'ai jamais vu cette guitare dans ses mains avant !
On dirait une stratocaster "personnalis�e" au maximum.
Je ne me souviens pas non plus l'avoir vu jouer sur fender. Je n'ai des souvenirs que de gibson (les paul) et de gretsch.

Including a whopping 18 minute rendition of the legendary �Ordinary People�, the album looks extremely interesting. Boasting 3 old tunes and 7 completely new numbers, Chrome Dreams II may be one of Neil�s most unique albums to date. In a recent interview, Young was quoted as saying this latest project is more like After the Goldrush or Freedom than any of his other albums. He talked about its level of variation and �mix� of multiple different facets that work together to create one message. We may only speculate at this point as to just how unique sounding it will be.
According to online sources, �Ordinary People� will be released as the album�s first single this coming monday. This is great news for old Neil Young fans, considering the hype and sheer power this song posseses. Played numerous times throughtout Neil�s 1980s tour with the Blue Notes, �Ordinary People� has long been thought of as the best unreleased song Neil ever played. A timely tale of the average toiler, Neil has made comments concerning the place of the song in modern times. �Some songs, like �Ordinary People,� need to wait for the right time. I think now is the right time for that song and it lives well with the new songs I have written in the past few months. I had a blast making this music,� he said. |

Non, tu ne te trompes pas! Mais plus vraiment comme avant ( Made in China).... Il faut bien tout regarder avant d'acheter!
Avant, elles �taient fabriqu�es en petites s�ries par des luthiers su�dois et rivalisaient avec les tous grands.
